About BP

BP is one of the car washes listed in Columbia, Maryland. The business is registered at 5485 Harpers Farm Rd, Columbia, MD 21044; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. In Columbia, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Maryland, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open Open 24 hours. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach BP at (410) 997-1313; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is harpersfarmbpmd.wordpress.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating stands at 3.1 out of 5 from 59 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Columbia is in Maryland, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Columbia follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

First they pretended they couldn’t scan my coupon. Then, they pretended they couldn’t speak English. They do not accept American Spirit digital coupons although only a few stores are listed to use them. Cashier said β€œTheir owner thinks prices are low enough.”

Gas prices extremely high at this location compared to other stations. And although its website says online app accepted, it doesn’t work at this station.

Took car in for oil change. They sold me couple other things. One being a coolant flush. Said car was ready and I picked it up. My heat was taking longer to work and o was hearing liquid moving. I called and he said to bring it back in. After having my car for a few hours he called and said my resovoir is cracked and needs to be replaced. It apparently according to the front desk lady was cracked when I brought it and she had a picture but they β€œforgot” to show me before i picked my car up. So they let me leave like that. Wow but according to the guy on the phone, it cracked when they opened it because it’s old and hasn’t been open in a while. My car is barely 6 years old. I picked my car back up because we had to wait for the part. I took it back and paid $250 to fix something that wasn’t broken when I first brought it. Their argument is what it was and they β€œforgot” to tell me. My argument is this is all bs and showing me a picture the third time I bring my car in does not prove to me when it broke. Neither does it compensate for all this bs and back and forth. They β€œforget” to tell you a lot of things here. Is a very convenient location from my house so I was really happy comin

Paid nearly $2000 for an alternator and battery to be replaced (which seems extraordinarily high as it is), only to have the car break down with the same symptoms two days later. I'm avoiding repair at this shop from now on.

I don't normally write reviews. Was looking for an independent shop to make a minor repair on my car. Generally, I do my own repairs but this one required a lift. On the recommendation of my wife's co-worker, I took the car to Harper's Farm BP. While I fully expected to come away with only an appointment (they were very busy), they worked me in almost immediately. I explained what I wanted done. They gave me a very reasonable estimate to which I agreed. I let the Service Manager know that if the work took longer than anticipated, I had no problem covering the additional time. He replied with a modest "not-to-exceed" price. The work was professionally completed to my total satisfaction and well within the estimated time / price. I was in-and-out in less than an hour. There were no hidden charges or fees and no attempt to sell me additional services. My thanks to the Service Manager and the mechanics for a most pleasant experience that exceeded my expectations..
